The Basic's is the perfect class for those who have had no previous dance classes or beginning level dancers who want to polish their skills. It is the perfect introductory class to learn the basics of Flamenco First we warm up then basic posture for the groundwork of Flamenco.

The class is simple and fun to follow, there is no critique or test of dancers.

It is an ongoing class. Most dancers prefer to move on to another level or first performance 6-12 months after.

Bring Shoes and skirt.

Intermediate:  will be focusing on Palmas and Rhythm

We will learn choreography and have a style specific costume.

A beginner who likes to push themselves a bit will have no problem in this class, we also work on basic skills.

Bring your mantilla and shoes.

Advanced Performing class is the right fit for dancers that want to keep developing their skills and who enjoy performing opportunities.

Generally we work on six to ten specific technique styles each year.

This class is ongoing but shifts focus every few months. Minimal costume requirements.

Current focus:

Gorgeous costume and artistic movement with a choreography and costume creation.

We will also work on basic skills.

What kind of workout is Flamenco?

Areas we Target include the mind body connection to help develop coordination and stamina.

Core: Yes. Your core is the main focus of this workout.

Arms: This workout doesn't specifically target your arms though we keep them involved by being attentive as we move through basic sequence patterns.

Legs: Yes. You’ll use your upper legs to help engage your core.

Glutes: Yes. You’ll use your glutes as you work on moves that stabilize your core.

Back: Yes. This workout focuses on stabilizing and strengthening your back as you strengthen your abs.

Abs: Yes, This is a main focus in Pilates working the entire abdominal area.


Intensity Level: Medium It's demanding, but it's not the kind of workout that will make you hot and sweaty. It’s all about concentration and breathing. But you’ll definitely feel it in your muscles during each exercise.

What to wear to dance class?

Most dancers wear Yoga pants, tanks tops or t shirts and bring a hip scarf when available, soft heel shoes(no metal), full skirt, mantilla(shawl) and water bottle.

Do I need dance experience?

No experience necessary to try out the basics it doesn't take long at all.

I cant dance!

Everyone can dance if they just relax, follow along and have fun without stressing about being perfect.
